No School tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 27!
The students will have no school tomorrow. Please complete the homework below for Thrusday, Jan. 28.
1. Check special classes blogs: They will be missing computer and P.E., so make sure to check the homework they will need to do in those classes.
2. Math: Complete pg. 203-204
3. Science: Complete pg. 22 in their science packet. Please use complete sentences. I am rescheduling the test for next week Tuesday, Feb. 2. You can still review for the test at home. Don't focus to much on the words about the ear, but do focus on the different words for the eye.
4. Reading: Read a story and make a list of nouns. A noun is a person, place, or thing (something you can touch).
5. Reading Journal: Read the story "Stormy Weather" pg. 63-75 in the reading book and complete Wednesdays journal page. They will be bringing these journals home and have used them before in class.
6. 100 Days of School: When the students come back it will be Thursday, Jan. 28, which is our 100th day of school. Please remember to have your child bring 100 of something. (100 candies, 100 marshmallows, etc.)

Haiti: We are collecting money for Haiti. As many of you know there was a terrible earthquake and they are in desperate need of help. Instead of sending food, we are raising money to send to The American School in Haiti. Any amount of money you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all of your help!
Thursday Homework: Students will need to complete 3 assignments for tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 22.
*Math: We are learning about 1/2 and 1/4. Draw two pizzas on a piece of paper. On one pizza put pepperoni on 1/2 of the pizza. On the other pizza put green peppers on 1/4 of the pizza.
*Science: We are learning about the five senses. Write one paragraph (5 sentences) about the five senses; what you have learned so far in class?
*Spelling: We will still be having our spelling test tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 22. Fill out the spelling homework paper.
*All of these assignments are due tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 22. Make sure to also check the special classes blog, they had today, if they have posted any homework.
